Satan’s Whiskers

Satan’s Whiskers

From Food and Wine: It first appeared in Harry Craddock’s The Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930, where it was presented in two unexplained variations: one made with Grand Marnier, dubbed “straight,” and another prepared with orange curaçao, known as “curled.” Often described as a variation on the Bronx cocktail, it is widely believed to have originated at the Embassy Club, a historic Hollywood nightclub that drew high-profile celebrities during its heyday.
