The Bee’s Knees
Don’t you just love the name of this cocktail? I’d order a glass just for the thrill of saying “bee’s knees.”
Serves 2:
4 oz Tanqueray Gin
2 oz lemon juice
1 oz honey syrup (make your own: combine ½ cup honey plus ½ cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat, and stir until honey is dissolved. Keep in an airtight container, refrigerated, for up to one month.)
Garnish with a lemon twist.
Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake like hell. Strain the cocktail into a coupe or martini glass. Twist the lemon peel over the cocktail and drop it in.
